Core 2 Overview
The Core Research Programmes of Mobile VCE are undertaken on behalf of all members and funded from their subscriptions and governmental research grants.
Following the success of our Core 1 Research, Mobile VCE members approved a second core programme, building on much of the work and experience of Core 1 but looking forward towards 4th generation mobile systems. Initial work began in autumn 1999, with full staffing ramping up in spring/summer 2000. Much of the programme is now complete and the final work packages will be completed during 2003.
